ある仕事の為に、またまたジヴルさんの写真を撮りにいきました。
お店の中はすっかり春らんまん。

夜のお花を撮るのは初めてでしたが、想像以上に良いかんじに写りました。

beauty in KIMONO

着物が大好き。着付け教室にも少し通ったけど、もうすっかりわすれちゃった。
着たい！って思うアンティーク着物は、ほとんどが小さすぎて私の体型には合わない。
だけど時々、かわいい帯を見つけるとつい買ってしまう。

前橋の怪しいお店で見つけた古い帯。白地の帯に控えめに入った白い菊の刺繍と、目が覚めるような鮮やかな黄色。そのバランスと潔さに一目惚れしてしまった。お値段なんと４００円。そして同時に買った帯締めは、これまたビビットな蛍光ピンクとシルバー！この組み合わせだったら、着物は白黒の大きめな格子柄か千鳥がいいかな。なんて考える時間が何より楽しい。

こっそり集めているのが、七五三用の髪飾り。もちろん、私が付ける気まんまん！さすがに真ん中の大きなピースは付ける勇気ないけど、小さなかんざしは・・・。いろんな妄想をふくらませつつ、結局「タンスの肥やし」になってしまうことでしょう。

putting on a kimono is an art. well, Kimono itself can be a piece of art.
actually, i forgot pretty much everything i learned at the school... i know it sounds like an excuse, but it is a quite difficult and complicated process.

if you go to thrift stores in japan, you'll see piles of kimonos and obi belts in the price range of a dollar to a grand.
