桐生骨董市 antique fair in Kiryu

すっかり忘れてたけど、去年のある日、桐生に行って来た。

到着直前に突然の大雨が！店じまいしてしまったお店もあって残念・・・

かつて「モダン」と言われたような家が沢山あります

Kiryu used to be a pretty rich town with their Kimono money.
the town is still famous for Japanese traditional textile.
you should just wonder around. you never know what you find.
